Vaccination Protocols & Parasite Prevention
To ensure the well-being of your pet rabbit, we advise annual vaccination against Calicivirus using the Filavac vaccine. This vaccination is crucial for protecting rabbits from this highly contagious and potentially fatal disease.
While Myxomatosis exists in Australia, a vaccine is not available or permitted for use due to concerns about the vaccinated strain potentially entering the wild rabbit population and inducing immunity.
In addition to vaccinations, we provide a range of products for parasite control and prevention, ensuring that your rabbits remain healthy and protected from common parasites.
Desexing Services
Our veterinary clinic prioritises the well-being of your pet during desexing procedures. We are committed to providing exceptional surgical care and ensuring a smooth recovery. Our team of highly skilled veterinarians has undergone extensive additional training in rabbit dentistry, ensuring that your beloved companion receives the highest level of care. We offer a full range of dental services, including occlusion management to correct misaligned teeth, surgical extractions of damaged or diseased teeth, and expert treatment of oral abscesses. Our commitment extends beyond immediate dental procedures; we also provide ongoing support and guidance on proper oral care at home, empowering you to maintain your rabbit’s dental health and prevent future dental issues. We offer full dentistry services and expertise for rabbits, our vets have further training in this area. We offer occlusion management, surgical extractions of teeth and treatment of oral abscesses. Ongoing support regarding oral care at home and prevention of further dental disease is also provided.

Emergency
We provide access to high quality 24 hour emergency, critical care, and hospitalisation 7 days a week, 365 days a year. Our vets are experienced with emergency practice and are ready to provide assistance should the need arise.
